Trance Freak will know best what I am talking about, but it dawned on me that CSD (competitive sentence diagramming) should best be considered as a game.
The rules for such a game, as played online, are not yet set; but the rules offline are described at the following website:
http://www.competitivesentencediagrammers.com/

I could use help in developing this game.

Yeah, it would make a great game : one gets to play & learn at the same time ^^
But, as you know, we're not familiar with CSD. All we know is PSR & most Xbar.
Here's the thing, you post a simple sentence (S1), then the same sentence yet complex/complex (S1'), & then a compound-complex sentence (S1") so that you show us the difference(s).
Or simply post in a brief course about CSD, the different terms to use, tips & tricks.
Ima do the same with PSR & Xbar Okay

Here is a very complete website about Reed-Kellogg diagramming:

http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/GRAMMAR/diagrams2/diagrams_frames.htm

And here is a Youtube video of me teaching it from the start:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98VlRF2lWuk&feature=related.

Here is an easy sentence:

Trance Freak is my friend.

I will send this reply and then see if I can post the diagram of that sentence.

There, I did it.

To diagram and to send the image I use "SmartDraw" blank genelogical chart and then "ImageShack".
